Realising a Confident Digital Society: Spotlight on SEA-6

The Tech for Good Institute, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Southeast Asia Development Solutions (SEADS), will be holding the virtual launch for the report, Realising a Confident Digital Society: Spotlight on SEA-6, on 7 April 2026.

This event will discuss the development of digital societies in Southeast Asia and highlight priority areas for strengthening the region’s regional digital integration. The discussion will focus on examining how Southeast Asia-6 (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) can deepen digital participation, and build more confident and inclusive digital societies.

Join us virtually for this event, co-hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Southeast Asia Development Solutions (SEADS) and the Tech for Good Institute (TFGI), on 07 April 2026, to discuss the development of digital societies in Southeast Asia (SEA) and priority areas for the region’s digital integration efforts to deepen digital participation, focusing on the Southeast Asia-6 (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam).

The session will explore the following questions:

  • What defines a Confident Digital Society in SEA, including the pillars that comprise it and the indicators used to quantify these pillars?
  • What is the current state of digital society development in SEA-6 countries, including opportunities for growth and challenges to overcome?
  • What are the key focus areas where regional cooperation and digital integration efforts can enable a Confident Digital Society?
  • How can Southeast Asia collectively build towards societies that confidently and actively engage in and benefit from digitalisation?
